Friends of the Porongurup Range invite you to a series of special events marking 100 years since the proclamation of the Porongurup National Park, celebrating the history, landscape, and community of the Porongurup Range.

Join us for an evening with Professor Kingsley Faulkner AM as he presents a fascinating insight into the region's history and developments from the early 19th century to the present day.
Presentation commences at 7:30 pm | Concludes at 9:00 pm

PIONEERS OF PORONGURUP | Professor Kingsley Faulkner AM
Original Aboriginal inhabitants. 1826–1926 Early European exploration and settlement. 1926 Inauguration of the Porongurup National Park, and the century that followed.
Complimentary Tea and Coffee will be served at the venue after the presentation.

A major exhibition of historic photographs, maps, artefacts, and artworks celebrating the Porongurup region and its community. Featuring contributions from local artists, writers, and community groups.
EXHIBITION OPENING
Saturday 14 November 2026
An informal opening of the exhibition followed by afternoon tea.
CEREMONIAL OPENING
Saturday 21 November 2026
Formal opening ceremony with guest speakers and keynote address, followed by afternoon tea.
ECOLOGY & CONSERVATION PRESENTATIONS
Sunday 22 November 2026
Presentations by DBCA representatives exploring regional ecology, flora, fauna, and fire management.
