Twin Creeks Fauna Surveys

The next fauna survey will be held at Twin Creeks from October 18 to 24, 2023.

Survey days start at the Silver shed at 7am and usually last until 11am.

We will open the traps on Wednesday October 18 followed by 5 days of early mornings to check 'what we got'. On the last day, Tuesday the 24th, we will close the traps.

We hope to find many vertebrate and invertebrate species including possums, frogs, beetles and spiders and everything that makes us exclaim What is that!?

If you can join us for just one morning or a couple of days, a weekend is planned – Saturday, Sunday, or both - to provide volunteers the opportunity to participate in a fauna survey.

Looking in a pitfall trap is like opening a Christmas present, you never know what you'll get; it is a memorable experience.

Please join us to take a closer look at the remarkable wildlife located at Twin Creeks Conservation Reserve.
